Niamh Dowling

BSc (Psych), GradDipPsych, MPsych (Clinical)


Niamh has a Masters of Psychology (Clinical) and is currently seeking endorsement in the area of Clinical Psychology (via the registrar program). Niamh has experience working in early intervention, community mental health, private practice and education settings.

Niamh works collaboratively with her clients, creating a space where her clients feel supported and understood. Niamh has a strong interest in working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and with individuals experiencing difficulties with emotional regulation, anger management, anxiety, depression, grief and loss and divorce / separation. Niamh has a special interest in early intervention and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Skilled in the following evidence-based interventions:

  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Mindfulness-based Therapies

  • Positive Behaviour Support

  • Motivational Interviewing

Niamh also conducts cognitive, educational and Autism assessments.
