Georgia Martin (she/her)

Georgia is a fully registered Psychologist who recently completed her 5+1 internship at Mind and Seek psychology. The internship is a year of supervised practice following completion of her Masters in Professional Psychology. She has experience working with children and adolescents in early intervention, educational, and public community mental health settings. 

 

Georgia works collaboratively with her clients to build supportive relationships and establish a safe space in which they can feel comfortable and heard. Georgia sees children and young people confronting difficulties with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships. She has a particular interest in working with neurodiverse individuals to explore and foster a positive sense of self.

 

Having worked within a fully registered NDIS service in the past, Georgia has experience supporting children facing diverse challenges. Georgia employs a flexible, playful, and non-directive approach to help individuals build confidence and enhance social, emotional and communication skills. Taking a client-centered approach, Georgia guides her clients towards achieving therapeutic goals and reaching their full potential.

Georgia also conduct cognitive, educational and autism assessments.
