Tiarna Conroy (she/her)

Provisional Psychologist

Tiarna is a provisional psychologist studying a Masters of Psychology (Clinical) and completing her final placement at Mind and Seek. She has experience working in community and educational settings to support individuals with a broad range of presentations.

Tiarna aims to create a safe, non-judgemental space where children and adolescents feel accepted, valued, and understood. She enjoys working with parents and caregivers, equipping them with the skills to best support their child.

Tiarna has a special interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, including Autistic and ADHDer children and adolescents. Her approach is strengths-based and affirming, cultivating an environment that embraces an individual’s differences. She is welcoming of all types of caregiving arrangements, including Rainbow (LGBTQIA+) families.

Tiarna integrates the following approaches in her practice:

·         Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

·         Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

·         Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

·         Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS)

·         Mindfulness-based Therapies
