At Mind and Seek Psychology we offer a supportive 12-month paid internship for Provisional Psychologists completing their Masters in Professional Psychology.

 

As an intern, you will maintain an individual case load and provide counselling, intervention and assessment services for children and adolescents who present with learning, developmental, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The internship role offers:

​

• A professional, friendly and supportive working environment

• Regular and ongoing individual and peer supervision 

• Administrative support and access to clinical resources

• A diverse range of client presentations to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to young people aged 3 to 16 years and their families.

• The opportunity to complete a range of psychological assessments and reports for the purpose of diagnosing neurodiversity or learning challenges

• An established network of connections with local GPs, paediatricians and schools

Essential Criteria

​​​​

• Capability to work independently in conducting assessments and counselling for children, adolescents and families.

• Skill and expertise in providing psychological interventions and therapy to children, adolescents and families.

• Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.

Desirable

​​

• Experience assessing and supporting Autism and ADHD

• Experience working in a private practice.
