Vacant Positions

The COVID-19 pandemic has consumed our minds, socially distanced our hearts and challenged our expectations for 2020. For many Melbourne children, this has meant rapidly adapting to remote learning and socialisation and coping with ongoing uncertainty and change. These immediate stressors are in addition to the mental health, developmental and learning challenges that many children face outside of the pandemic. At Mind & Seek, we have a rapidly growing waitlist for children, adolescents and parents seeking help during these difficult times. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate child and adolescent psychologist to join our service as a part-time contractor.

Mind & Seek is a child and adolescent private psychology practice in Melbourne’s inner north west of Melbourne. Mind & Seek is part of the Western Psychological Services network, which has been helping families in the North-Western parts of Melbourne for over 25 years.

As a sub-contractor, you will provide counselling, intervention and assessment services for children and adolescents who present with learning, developmental, emotional and behavioural difficulties. During Stage 4 restrictions, we are primarily offering telehealth consultations (working from home) and will resume face-to-face services as guided by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Australian Psychological Society (APS).

  • EXCELLENT remuneration and flexible working hours.

  • Two locations available - 2+ days currently available at Mind & Seek Essendon and / or 1+ days available at WPS Melton (see for more information about our Melton location).

  • Support and opportunity to develop own areas of interest and expertise.

  • An established network of connections with local GPs, paediatricians and schools.
