Ravini Jayawardena

Ravini is a Registered Psychologist, undertaking a registrar program for clinical endorsement. Ravini has a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Flinders University, and has extensive experience working with children both in private and public community mental health settings. 

Ravini sees children and adolescents with a broad range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, behaviour management, bullying, difficulties with self-esteem, work/study challenges, trauma, sleep disorders, interpersonal challenges, and phobias. Ravini has a particular interest with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and can facilitate the development and use of practical strategies to overcome challenges of the day-to-day life. Ravini also provides cognitive and educational assessments for primary and high school aged children. 

Ravini takes an individualised and client centred approach when working with clients.  She collaboratively works with children and parents to reach therapy goals and behavioural change.  Ravini is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Clinical Psychologist Association (ACAP).
